Terms of service
Last updated: 10 October 2026. These terms apply to quespy.com and the Quespy app for iOS and Android.
1. Provider and scope
Quespy is operated by Dmitry Zaytsev, Quespy (sole proprietorship), Gestütring 16, 85435 Erding, Germany (see Legal notice). These terms govern the use of the website, the app, the waitlist and the author programme. Mandatory consumer protection law of the country where you habitually live remains unaffected.
2. The service
Quespy offers interactive tours and single spots with audio, images, video, text and puzzles, tours generated on demand from your start point, time and interests, and, later, guided tours and an events directory. Content is created by Quespy and by independent authors. We prepare tours with care; historical facts and route suggestions may still contain errors.
3. Account and age
You need an account to buy or play tours. You must be at least 12 years old; if you are under 16 you need a parent's or guardian's consent. Keep your login confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Purchases, prices, withdrawal
Quespy will offer subscriptions for users and for authors, and paid self-guided tours that are bought separately, on this website and in the apps, each at the price shown including VAT. Nothing is on sale yet. We will publish the terms of purchase here, including your right of withdrawal and how to cancel a subscription, before sales begin. Purchases made in an app are also subject to the payment and refund rules of the Apple App Store or Google Play.
5. Safety outdoors
You walk at your own risk. Follow traffic rules, signs and the instructions of park and site operators. Never use the app while cycling or driving. Quespy does not check that routes are safe, accessible or open at any given time. Liability under section 8 remains unaffected.
6. Acceptable use
Do not copy, record or redistribute tour content, circumvent purchases, reverse engineer the app, or upload unlawful, offensive or infringing material. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
7. Authors
Authors grant Quespy a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, translate and sell their tours on the website and in the apps. Authors keep their copyright and guarantee that they hold the rights to everything they upload. We will publish the Author Agreement, with the author subscription and the revenue share, before the author programme opens.
8. Liability
Quespy is liable without limit for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence Quespy is liable only for breach of essential contractual duties and limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these terms for good reason (legal changes, new features). We will inform you in the app or by email at least 4 weeks in advance and you may object; if you do not object, the new terms apply. You can ask us at any time to delete your account: write to privacy@quespy.com.
10. Governing law and disputes
German law applies, excluding the UN Sales Convention; mandatory consumer protection law of the country where you habitually live remains unaffected. We do not take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
